At Amanda Demanda, family is at the heart of everything we do—so when Bring Your Child to Work Day came around, we couldn’t wait to welcome the next generation into our world. This year, we had the joy of hosting bright, curious, and energetic kids for a day filled with learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
The day began with a morning circle where each child introduced themselves, shared a little about their favorite things, and got to know one another. It was the perfect way to break the ice and build a sense of community right from the start.
We then gave the kids a behind-the-scenes look at what it really means to be part of a law firm. They learned about the different roles within our team, the importance of standing up for others, and how our work helps people during some of the hardest moments of their lives. We talked about justice, fairness, and how lawyers don’t just work in courtrooms—we work in our communities to make a difference.
To bring those lessons to life, we held a mock trial where the kids stepped into key courtroom roles—judge, bailiff, plaintiff, defendant, attorneys, and witnesses. Watching them take it seriously (with a little humor, of course) was inspiring! They were confident, curious, and full of great questions. It was a fun way to teach them about how the legal system works while giving them a chance to shine.
After all that courtroom action, it was time to recharge with a delicious lunch. The afternoon was all about creativity and fun: the kids colored and drew original artwork, which we framed and gave to their parents as special keepsakes for their desks. They also played games, watched their favorite movies and shows, and even got to let loose with a surprise Hawaiian-themed dance party—complete with snacks, music, and lots of laughs.
From start to finish, the day was full of energy, imagination, and heart. Bring Your Child to Work Day isn’t just about showing kids what we do—it’s about inspiring them, connecting as a team, and celebrating the joy of learning together.
