As the We The People National Competition draws near, Amanda Demanda had the honor of visiting Hialeah Gardens Senior High School to connect with the Law Academy, the We The People Team, and the senior class. In a heartfelt presentation at the school auditorium, Amanda shared her personal journey in law, offering students meaningful insight, practical advice, and encouragement for anyone considering a legal career. The visit included an engaging Q&A session, where students asked thoughtful questions about the legal profession, advocacy, and Amanda’s experience as a Latina in law.
Amanda also toured the school, visited classrooms, and had the opportunity to meet with teachers, staff, and students across campus. As a proud sponsor of the We The People team representing Florida at the national competition in Washington D.C., Amanda’s visit was a reflection of her commitment to supporting the next generation of legal minds. The day ended with small gift giveaways, smiles, and group photos to commemorate the inspiring experience. We can’t wait to see what these future champions achieve—and we’re honored to have played a small role in helping them sharpen their arguments and believe in their potential.
