Dax A. Bello

Dax A. Bello is a trial attorney at Stewart Tilghman Fox Bianchi & Cain, P.A., where he focuses on representing individuals and families whose lives have been catastrophically impacted by negligence and wrongful conduct. His practice centers on complex civil litigation, including wrongful death, defective products, medical malpractice, construction accidents, and serious motor vehicle collisions. Throughout his career, he has helped secure more than $75 million in settlements and verdicts for his clients.

Prior to entering civil practice, Bello served as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County, where he prosecuted numerous serious criminal cases to verdict, including homicide, armed robbery, narcotics trafficking, and other violent crimes. He was also a member of the State Attorney’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit. This prosecutorial experience provides valuable insight in cases involving catastrophic collisions, including those with parallel criminal investigations.

Bello earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami and his Juris Doctor, with honors, from St. Thomas University School of Law. In addition to his trial practice, he is active in the legal and local community, serving as a Commissioner on the Miami-Dade County Continuing Justice Reform Commission and as a board member of the Miami-Dade Trial Lawyers Association. He previously served as President of the Cuban American Bar Association and has been recognized for his professional and community leadership throughout South Florida.
